Sea Salt Baths are a wonderful way to wash away any negative energy accumulated during your day. Follow this simple step by step at home healing treatment and you will clear out many unpleasant thoughts and experiences which may have entered into your personal energy space. This nurturing treatment will leave you feeling physically and emotionally cleansed, which is a great way to regain perspective as you continue on life’s magical mystery tour.
Mineral Baths are Not the Time for Multitasking…
Sea Salt Baths are especially effective when they include one of my favorite products… Unscented Masada Dead Sea Mineral Bath Salts. I specify the use of unscented bath salts because you do not want to stimulate the olfactory part of the brain, which helps you to identify smells and scents. A distracted olfactory system will reduce your mind’s ability to focus on clearing out negative thought forms. This guideline extends to all soaps as well. Remember, it's important to keep all all variations of soaps (scented and unscented) out of your sea salt bath as this will only detract from the singular purpose of the healing treatment.
This is not the time for your brain to be multitasking, so if you should be lucky enough to have some alone time, try to take your sea salt bath without distractions from mates and children. Remember, every once in a while, it really does need to be about you and your needs.
Entering your Sea Salt Bath…
Even though I refer to this treatment as a bath it is in reality a soak. We are clearing out the internal mind as opposed to cleansing the external epidermis… Besides, sea salt soak would be a real tongue twister! Once you have drawn the bath water, take three (3) capfuls of the Unscented Masada Bath Salts and sprinkle them across the length of the tub. Now mix the salt into the warm water with your hand. Enter the tub and layback until the water reaches up the base of your neck. Use my breathing technique to relax and really focus on feeling and hearing your breath as it enters and exits your body. Focusing on the breath will allow you to experience more impactful results in terms of releasing the negative aspects of your thoughts and experiences. If left unattended, these negative aspects can accumulate in the memory of your body’s cells and create debilitating effects throughout the physical body.
Exiting your Sea Salt Bath…
When you get out of the tub it is not necessary to remove the salt from your body. Just towel off and just like a regular bath you may apply you favorite skin lotion. I suggest taking 2 baths per week. Try adding an additional treatment if you are experiencing high levels of stress or live in a particularly challenging environment.
Final words…
I can’t tell you how important it is to make sure the bath salts are unscented and that you do not add another element to the bath except for the Masada Dead Sea Mineral Bath Salts. There are no real substitutions for these sea salts and their ability to cleanse the internal mind, spirit and body.
Namaste,
San Dan Yi
